Cultivated in the Sidamo region of Ethiopia, this light roast will wake up your taste buds: it’s elegant and complex flavor evolves throughout tasting, with notes of citrus, blueberry and maple syrup. This exceptional coffee is exported by Ethiopia’s only female coffee miller/exporter, Asnakech Thomas—a passionate humanitarian native to the Amaro region who works to improve coffee quality and living conditions in her community. When Asnakech is not busy championing issues like child and maternal health, equality, and education in her home district and country, she is harvesting, sorting and milling some the finest coffee southwest Ethiopia has to offer. She is known for her high standards to process only the ripest of cherries, and uses a natural air-drying process on raised beds to create a clean consistent coffee.
